Media Services

Faculty, staff, and students can receive assistance from Media Services to produce professional quality audio and video recordings, presentations and materials. Live streaming, archived streaming, podcasts and downloadable media services are available including media manipulation and conversion.
URLs are provided to clients for hosted media, which can then be used within Carmen courses or disseminated via web sites, email, and other methods.
Streaming media helps to protect intellectual property and allow low bandwidth clients to consume media without requiring a time-consuming download of the clip first. Podcasts and other downloaded files allows the client to keep a copy increasing portability, but allowing uncontrolled redistribution of the materials.

Uploaded media files are addressed twice a day, morning and afternoon, and are processed in the order in which they are received. Links to the resulting hosted media are delivered as soon as possible.
Physically delivered materials are processed as soon as possible in the order in which they are received. Links to the resulting hosted media are delivered and clients will be notified of order completion as soon as possible.
